Mr & Mrs A, Barnsley

Modern, clean lines, symmetry, high gloss, these were the instructions we got from Mrs A for her new kitchen. So the inclusion of wide drawers & vertical opening wall units also help to make the room look a lot bigger.

Hotpoint “openspace” oven & gas hob were the chosen appliances to keep within budget with the exception of the Franke angled hood. The worksurfaces are 40mm Getacore solid surface with matching splashbacks, this once again being a price step down from granite to keep within Mr & Mrs A’s budget, but in our opinion really adding to the ultra modern look they wanted to achieve.

Mr & Mrs H, Barnsley

Mr & Mrs H approached us to plan their new kitchen after seeing our advert in one of the local “glossy” magazines. When asked if we could do a supply only as their builder was installing the kitchen in the brand new extension they were having built, we assured them it would be no problem & could work within the builders time schedule & also provide drawings for the electrical & plumbing first fix.

Second Nature “Milton Ivory” was the chosen finish, this was complimented with Star Galaxy granite worksurfaces, this was also used to line out the chimney breast behind the Rangemaster cooker to create the focal point for the kitchen.

Mr & Mrs P, Hemingfield

Second Nature “Lyndon” Oak was the choice of Mr & Mrs P to give that modern look with a slight touch of contempary modern. We at Design Interiors Barnsley are finding a return to the traditional wooden canopy extractor through the choice of our customers. The design of Mr & Mrs P’s new kitchen includes a canopy above the wide Hotpoint gas hob which in turn is stepped forward of the adjacent base units to make a striking feature.

Our clients also wanted the existing floor tiles to remain in place, so this had to be considered when planning the new kitchen. Duropal laminate worksurfaces were used along with Hotpoint appliances.

Mr & Mrs W, Wombwell

Painted cream has been one of our most popular choices throughout 2011 & this is no exception for Mr & Mrs W’s new  fitted kitchen, the golden rule here for us was to keep it light & bright as there was little natural light available in the kitchen area.

African Black granite was used to complement the Cream units & the Stainless steel range cooker, as this was a smallish room we incorporated the “angled” base unit on the opposite wall to give more access to the rear door.

Mr & Mrs Y,  Sheffield

Mr & Mrs Y Were recommended to us by a previous customer who assured them we could help with the complete re-vamp of their kitchen. This involved a complete re-plaster of the entire room & the re-siting of an internal door.

Mrs Y wanted to choose a kitchen style that was in keeping with the style & character of their large detached home, so opted for a traditional “in-frame” Cream Shaker. This all came together with the solid granite worksurfaces & multifuel range cooker. As we were working in a very large room we had the opportunity to add the large glazed dressers & glass wall units to create a nice looking feature

Mr & Mrs G, Barnsley

Not one but two bedrooms to be fully fitted out was the order from Mr & Mrs G, with the firm instruction to keep things “light & airie & no clutter”.

So Lissa Oak & Mainau Birch became the two chosen colours in the “Scoop” style to keep everything looking clean & uncluttered. Here at Design Interiors Barnsley everything is made to measure so our clients could have their wardrobes manufactured & installed to their specific sizes at a very affordable cost.

Mr & Mrs As, Barnsley

As soon as Mrs As saw the gloss white handless door on display in our showroom it was an instant decision “thats the one” , nice clean lines & no handles to get in the way (and it also stops her pet Alsatian dog opening the doors). All that was left to do was finalise the appliances & choose the worktop.
